The San Diego Original Black Panther Party 55th Anniversary Event

This is a 3-day event starting October 21-23rd, 2022 we will be celebrating our accomplishments and our connections with our community partners, and our historic successes as an organization as well as celebrating those who supported us on our journey.

October 21st - Meet & Greet - Introduction to the SD Original BPP

2:00-5:30 pm at the Central Library - The Neil Morgan Auditorium, 330 Park Blvd., San Diego, CA 92101

We will begin our 3-day anniversary event with a featured SD Original BPP Film Screening. Hosted by Cheryl Morrow. While enjoying our feature film, there will be vendors and community resources available as well as music, light snacks, and refreshments.

October 22nd - San Diego Original BPP/Us Organization with Dr. Karenga & The Nation of Islam Dr. Abdul Haleem Muhammad - Reconciliation Signing Media Event

5:00-8:00 pm at the World Beat Center, 2100 Park Blvd., San Diego, CA 92101

Today marks a historic event sharing SD Original BPP Historic events with our special guests.

We will have an art walk featuring local San Diego artists and art for sale. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. The One World Beat Cafe will be open for additional food options to purchase.

October 23rd - Gala - celebrating 55 years & Award Ceremony

5:00-8:00 pm at San Diego State University - Montezuma Hall, Aztec Student Union, Campanile Mall, San Diego, CA 92115

Join us at our gala opening mixer then dinner with our keynote speaker, followed by our awards ceremony, then closing the evening with great entertainment and music.
